Tuoling Terms of Service

Updated: 4 November 2026 Effective: 4 November 2026

Welcome to Tuoling. These terms are the agreement between you and Tuoling on using the Tuoling app and related services. Please read them carefully, especially the parts in bold. By tapping “Agree and continue” or using the app, you confirm you have read and accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. What Tuoling offers

Tuoling provides information services for Chinese people living and working in Central Asia: a translator with read-aloud, reference exchange rates, local posts, second-hand listings, jobs, housing, merchant pages, private messages, group chats, life guides and more. Features change over time.

Tuoling is a platform for publishing information and talking to each other, not a party to any deal. Listings, jobs, housing and merchant information are posted by users or merchants themselves; Tuoling does not guarantee any transaction and does not collect or pay money on anyone’s behalf.

2. Your account

  • Sign in with your own phone number or Telegram account and give truthful information.
  • Your account is for you only. Do not lend, transfer or sell it. Keep your phone and codes safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • If your account is misused, contact us through support immediately.

3. Rules of use

When using Tuoling you must not:

  • post anything that breaks the law of the country you are in or the law of China;
  • post scams, fake jobs, fake housing, pyramid schemes, gambling, pornography, violence or terrorism;
  • exchange currency privately, raise funds illegally, sell prohibited goods or run any other illegal business;
  • impersonate others or infringe anyone’s reputation, privacy, image, copyright or trademark;
  • harass, insult or discriminate against others, or publish someone’s personal information without consent;
  • send spam, register accounts or call our services with scripts, scrape data, or disrupt Tuoling in any way.

If you break these rules, we may remove the content without notice and limit or ban your account depending on how serious it is; where the law may have been broken we will cooperate with the authorities. Use the “Report” button to tell us about content that breaks the rules.

4. Your content

  • The rights to the text, photos and videos you post stay with you or the original owner.
  • So that we can show and share it, you allow Tuoling to use it at no cost within the service (store, display, compress, translate). The licence ends when you delete the content, except where others have already shared it.
  • You confirm you have the right to post it and you are responsible for its accuracy and legality.

5. Deals and information risks

Local, second-hand, job, housing and merchant information is the responsibility of whoever posts it. Before meeting, paying a deposit or signing anything, check the other person’s identity and the information yourself and look after your safety and money. Disputes from deals, employment or rentals between users are for the parties to resolve; Tuoling may help by providing necessary information.

6. Translations, rates and guides

Translations are machine-generated, exchange rates are for reference only, and life guides are general introductions — any of them may be inaccurate or out of date. For legal, visa, medical, contractual or large financial matters, rely on official sources and professional advice.

7. Changes and interruptions

We work to keep the service stable, but it may pause or stop because of maintenance, network failures, problems with third-party services or force majeure; we will try to announce this in the app in advance. Some features may change or be withdrawn.

To the extent the law allows, Tuoling is not liable for indirect losses from using or being unable to use the service.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Tuoling at any time and delete your account under “Me → Settings → Account & security → Delete account”. There is a 15-day cooling-off period: signing in again during that time cancels the deletion. If you seriously break these terms we may stop providing the service to you.

9. Changes to these terms

When these terms change we update this page in the app; for significant changes we will ask you to confirm again the next time you open the app. If you do not accept the new terms, you may stop using Tuoling.

10. Contact us

Tuoling is operated by the Tuoling team.

For any question, contact us in the app under “Me → Support”.

These terms are available in several languages. If they differ, the Chinese version prevails.
